Illustration has always been my love for as long as I can remember. I
have found the same love for Commercial Advertising and Graphic
Design. While I attended college for Commercial Art and Advertising, I
have never taken a formal art class (save for the technical
perspective classes in college). My future plans include taking still
life drawing and painting classes, as I never plan to stop learning
how to improve my illustrations.

My main influences have been through the 'zines I used to read in my
youth, and most influential was the Skating Thrash 'zine that caught
the excitement and energy of a whole generation. Countless times my
friends and I bled to the theme of "Skate tough or go home."
Next came the Tattoo 'zines with Atkins and Booth, then turning my
taste for artists that produce the sort of visuals that created a
new kind of energy for me. Needless to say Big Daddy Roth started my
love for the alternative style (and a host of others I will not
include as they have now become so big in there own head and do not
return fan mail to kids so I will not give them space here).

Currently I have friends in bands and have come to use my art to
promote their shows. Poster art is a more difficult form of
discipline than I ever imagined, and I will say for the likes of JayJay
Jackson of www.seriousdesign.com, Steve Sims of ww.brutefish.com,
Billy Perkins of penhead.com and a host of others that sacrificed
their personal and work time to help me learn, it is these people that I
respect and hold in esteem. I hope that you will return and watch for the
new art that arrives on my site often, and most of all I thank you
the viewer who appreciates the alternative style of expressive art.
